FURA EXTENDS CLOSING DATE AND FILES TECHNICAL REPORT

Fura Emeralds Inc. has extended the closing date of its previously announced acquisition of the emerald exploration concession, ECH-121, in Colombia (see press release dated Feb. 12, 2015) to a date on or around May 15, 2015. Fura also intends to close its previously announced private placement financing (see press release dated March 23, 2015) concurrently with the closing of the emerald concession acquisition transaction.

Fura also reports that it has filed a technical report in respect of the ECH-121 emerald licence in the Boyaca district of Colombia. The technical report was prepared in compliance with National Instrument 43-101 (standards for disclosure for mineral projects).

The technical report, entitled "Technical report on the ECH-121 emerald licence in the Boyaca district, Colombia," was authored by Ricardo A. Valls, MSc, PGeo, who is a qualified person as defined by National Instrument 43-101 and who is independent of Fura. The technical report may be found under the company's profile on SEDAR.
