JoJo has released a new track "Far From Heaven," a piano-driven cut from her upcoming third studio album. After signing with Atlantic Records for her latest, Jo has been in the studio with producers like Da Internz, Gino Barletta and Noisecastle III, but, until now, she has been reluctant to preview her new music.
According to VIBE, Jojo dishes from the heart on the new track.
"Jojo sings of ignoring the signs in a relationship that seemed perfect only to end up heartbroken in the end."
Speaking with Rap-Up, the young singer says she just wants to make a quality record for her fans.
"It's just been so long since I've released an album that really what I wanna bring is just quality. I wanna bring big songs. I want them to touch a wide range of people and I really want it to represent my very best work. I'm really not thinking about what other people are doing. I'm thinking about representing my personal best, delivering powerful vocals, and being honest and as raw as possible."
