As we know all too well, you online people like things to be covered live, in real-time. That's why we live blog games, press conferences - even three-minute long matches of international football .

However, we didn't realise the desire for live coverage had gone this far.

Brondby IF - one of Denmark's biggest clubs - are currently having their pitch relaid. And as you can see above, they are live streaming it. Not for a comedy few hours. Not for a day. For the whole week.

We were planning on scoffing, mocking and laughing at this madness, but here's the thing:

It's mesmerising.

It's nigh on impossible to explain why, but we simply cannot stop watching. True, so little is happening, it often looks like you're looking at a picture rather than a video. And yes, this is the closest thing yet to live coverage of watching grass grow.

But God help us, we're addicted.

Just call us Mirror Mow Zed…
