New Delhi: Bollywood's versatile actor Vivek Oberoi, who was last seen in 'Krrish 3' must be feeling on cloud nine these days. Reason? The 38-year-old star has been named for the prestigious 'Dada Saheb Phalke Pride Award 2015'.

According to reports, Vivek has been awarded this honour for his excellence, dedication and versatility in the field of entertainment. In an official statement issued by the actor, he thanked everyone and expressed his happiness over winning the prestigious award at such a young age. Vivek promised for bettering himself with passing time, and thanked the foundation for encouraging him to do good work. The award is given by Dada Saheb Phalke Film Foundation.

Vivek shot to fame with debut film 'Company' in 2002, and since then there has been no looking back for the actor. He was even awarded the Red and White Bravery Award in 2006 for helping re-build a village hit by the deadly Tsunami. Vivek extended his support to Project Devi, Cancer Patients Aid Association and Banyan, which works towards rehabilitating mentally challenged homeless women.
