Devotees visiting Police Parade Grounds to witness the grand Sri Venkateswara Vaibhavotsavamulu savoured a special ‘Sahasra Kalasabhishekam Seva’ offered to the processional deities of Sri Malayappa Swamy along with His consorts Bhoodevi and Sridevi and Sri Vishwaksena, the chief commander of Lord.

The ritual involved filling of brass vessels containing ‘Abhisheka thirtha’ otherwise known as ‘Parimala teertham’, pure water with the aroma of sandal paste along with eight more Parivara vessels and one gold vessel filled with water placed in Mantapam in front of ‘Bangaru Vakili’. The ‘archakas’ recited ‘Pancha suktas’ and the ‘Pancha santhi mantras.’

TTD Dharmika Mandali district unit president Tadisetty Murali Mohan and Narasaraopet MP Rayapati Sambasiva Rao were present.
