Seventeen cars were broken into or damaged in Mawson, Farrer and Isaacs during a two day period this week, police say.

Police said the spate of motor vehicle crimes were reported between Monday, April 13 and Tuesday, April 14.
The incidents happened within a 2.5km radius of the southside suburbs, police said.
Multiple cars were broken into and items such as cash, memberships cards, sunglasses, cameras and books were stolen. Some of the stolen items were found nearby.
One witness reported seeing a silver hatchback speed away after one incident.
