On Monday night, AD Italy celebrated Salone del Mobile with a lavish party in one of Milan’s oldest palazzos, the House of Atellani. The 15th-century home and gardens in Corso Magenta, where Leonardo da Vinci once kept a vineyard, were restored in the 1920s by architect Piero Portaluppi and now grace the cover of AD Italy’s February issue. For the evening’s festivities, over 900 guests were invited to explore the home’s rich interiors and meandering gardens, transformed by designer Marcel Wanders into a House of Wonders. Wound, braided, and frayed, a rich assemblage of Dedar fabrics crawl across the radiant property, winding up the brilliant banister and in among the ivy that’s held its ground for centuries.
