Omar Samra, The Egyptian adventure, prepares for the last step to achieve his dream of completing the "Adventure Grand Slam"; a challenge that has only been achieved by less than 40 people in history. The Commercial International Bank (CIB) - Egypt has been sponsoring Samra's challenge that has started in December 2014, in the context of the Bank's commitment towards the society and to support young and talented Egyptians.

Samra has already completed the 7 Summits Challenge last year; and aims to achieve the 'Adventure Grand Slam', which is the feat of climbing the 7 Summits and skiing to the North and South Poles. In last December, Samra succeeded to cross an amazing 111 kilometers to reach the last degree of the South Pole and raised the Egyptian flag along the CIB flag, in the southernmost point on the surface of the Earth, to approach the achievement of the "Adventure Grand Slam" title.

The Egyptian young adventurer plans to ski to the North Pole this month, to become the first and youngest Egyptian; as well as one of the very few people in history to have realized this challenge.

CIB wishes the best of luck to Omar Samra.
