Police seek ESG response in Iffi scam case

PANAJI: Panaji police has directed the entertainment society of Goa (ESG) to give its comments within a week in relation to a complaint filed by Gen Next for Goa, alleging a mega scam in the international film festival of India (Iffi), 2014.
Durgadas Kamat, president, of the group, recently filed a police complaint against the ESG and its office bearers. Kamat's plaint came soon after the release of an audit inspection report by Indian audit and accounts department that hints at a loss of 2.40-odd crore by ESG.
