WAMGROUP Appoints President of Enviro-Care

The WAMGROUP announced the appointment of Philip A. Thompson as president of WAM North America, Inc. dba Enviro-Care Co. The WAMGROUP purchased Enviro-Care Co. on Feb. 1, 2015. Thompson had been the vice president of sales and marketing at Enviro-Care under the previous owner.

Thompson is the former president and owner of Hycor Corp., a provider of liquid/solid separation equipment for municipal and industrial applications with emphasis on fine screening. He later became president of Waterlink Separations after its acquisition of Hycor.

“Phil brings a long history of success in the headworks screening market and is highly respected within the industry,” said Marcello Marchesini, vice president of the WAMGROUP. “His industry knowledge and high energy leadership makes him the perfect choice for this position.”
