The Revenue Divisional Officer (RDO) of Tirupattur will conduct an inquiry into the death of a 20-year-old married woman.
The women had allegedly committed suicide by hanging on Sunday evening.
Jolarpet police said Jothi, a resident of Chinnamukkanur village, was married to a relative, Murali, of the same village nearly two years ago. The couple was reportedly unhappy,
On Sunday evening, Jothi was found hanging from the ceiling of a room at the house. Following a complaint from Jothi’s mother, Shymala, Jolarpet police registered a case.
Within 7 years
RDO’s probe has been ordered in the case as death has occurred within seven years of marriage.
