S. Melwin Joseph (19) of Vannarpet in Coonoor was felicitated by Hockey- Nilgiris at a function held in Coonoor. According to S. Ananthakrishnan, president, Hockey- Nilgiris, the boy has been selected to be part of the Tamil Nadu State Junior Mens Hockey Team that will be playing in the Hockey India 5th Junior National Hockey Championship Division A at Coorg from April 14 to April 22.
He added that Melwin Joseph, who was a regular player for the Hockey- Nilgiris team has been showing a lot of promise in the recent years.
