Katy Perry Parties With Robert Pattinson & FKA Twigs After Her Van Broke Down En Route To Coachella
Katy Perry didn’t have a good time traveling on the way to Coachella. The singer’s van broke down, causing her to walk to the music festival. That’s not easy to do in a sheer dress and high heeled shoes. Katy and her group of friends stopped at Soho’s House for brunch when their van allegedly broke down. Katy’s friend, Janelle Shirtcliff, shared the moment with her followers on her Instagram account.
She captioned the photo: “That time our van broke down. @miamoretti @katyperry @ferras @cleowade @privateshannon @callmemargot @jloganhorne @laurenglucksman @tamratam @richiephoenix @heysofusnow @suzysansone.” Perry’s friend tagged all of the friends in their entourage.
The “Dark Horse” singer didn’t let this little problem get to her though. She was reportedly in good spirits as her and her friends walked to the popular music festival in Indio, California. Some festival-goers reported that Katy jokingly hitchhiked from the side of the road. That wasn’t the only mishap that Katy had to deal with on the way to Coachella. She also shared a photo of a collapsed cot with the hashtag #CANTchella.
Perry was finally able to have fun later on that night. She was spotted partying with her friend Robert Pattinson and his fiancée FKA Twigs at the Gobi tent, according to Fashion & Style Magazine. FKA, whose real name is Tahlia Debrett Barnette, reportedly got engaged to the Twilight actor last month. The singer has been through her share of backlash from the Twihards on Twitter. Perry and Pattinson also watched FKA Twigs perform during her set.
Perry also partied with good friend, Moschino designer, Jeremy Scott, according to a report on the Daily Mail. The 30-year-old showed a lot of skin in a gold quiltled bra, patchwork denim overalls, and an orange and gold anorak jacket. She also wore large gold hoop earrings and orange platform sandals. Perry’s wacky outfit was designed and styled by Scott himself. Perry reportedly held onto Scott and an unidentified male friend throughout much of the night.
Katy also showed no distress over her on-again, off-again relationship with John Mayer. She has reportedly moved on from the singer-songwriter for what seems like the fourth or fifth time for fans. E! News previously reported that the two have split after they tried to give their relationship another chance. A source close to John Mayer told the news site that he’s still good friends with the singer although they’re “over for good.”
Perry reportedly split with John Mayer after realizing that he lacks emotion in their relationship. Mayer has also told friends he “fell out love with Perry but will always love her.” That was enough for Katy Perry to move on for good. Ever since their split, the singer has been trying to make Mayer jealous by dating and flirting with random guys. Katy Perry probably even got her flirt on at Coachella this weekend.
