UP CM to unveil Greater Noida Metro in Delhi

NOIDA/GREATER NOIDA: Chief minister Akhilesh Yadav is set to lay the foundation for the Noida-Greater Noida Metro link in Delhi later this month. This follows his spree of inaugurating 62 mega-projects from Lucknow, for the three Gautam Budh Nagar cities. Union urban development minister Venkaiah Naidu will grace the event.
A senior government official said the event for the Metro link was discussed with the CM on Saturday.“He has given consent to take part in the event. We need to zero-in on a date that suits both the CM and the Union minister. We are expecting clarity this week. Preparations for the event will start then,” he said.
