The search is continuing for a Queensland man who went missing in the Mount Mee area on Wednesday, with police now holding grave concerns for his safety.
Raymond Westrop, 56, suffers from serious medical conditions and is physically frail.
It is believed his condition would make it extremely difficult for him to negotiate the terrain in the area.
State Emergency Service (SES) volunteers and police have made use of a helicopter, quad bikes, all terrain vehicles and mounted officers in the search.
One volunteer has been airlifted to Nambour Hospital after suffering a leg injury when a quad bike rolled over the top of him.
Searchers have found some property that belongs to Mr Westrop, along with some footprints showing he had been in the area.
Police are urging people in the area to re-check their properties including any outbuildings, sheds or caravans in case Mr Westrop had sought shelter.
Mr Westrop is described as frail with white hair and green eyes.
He is believed to be wearing navy blue shorts, a red and blue top, white running shoes with green ends on the laces, a polar fleece and a camouflage rain jacket.
