Deputy Commissioner P.C. Jaffer will inaugurate a banner containing quick response codes in front of the Bidar Fort on Sunday. The codes have been linked to Wikipedia pages containing information about the district, historic monuments like the fort and tourist places like Gurudwara Guru Nanak Jhira, Narasimha Jharni and Paapnash Temple. Later, he will speak at a Wikipedia meetup event organised by the Bidar Wikipedia Community at the Sharada RUDSETI Centre in Pratap Nagar. The community has uploaded over 50 articles on the online encyclopedia that have been translated into 33 languages.
