A couple M. Fakirappa (53) and Fakiramma (50) was hacked to death with axes in Agadur village in Thondur mandal in Pulivendula constituency on Thursday night, owing to previous rivalry. The murders were said to be in retaliation to a clash between Fakirappa and his rival Ramana in a land dispute, in which Ramana’s wife Sulochana succumbed to injuries, the police said.
