Eligibility criteria:

Educational qualification: The candidates should have a god academic record with at least 55 percent marks in their Master's degree. The Master's degree must be in their relevant subject and from a recognised Indian university or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university. Also, the candidates must have cleared the NET exam, or any other similar test accredited by the UGC.

Pay scale: The selected candidates shall receive a salary in the pay band of Rs 15,600 to Rs 39,100 per month.

Selection procedure: The candidates shall be selected on the basis of their merit and an interview which will be conducted by the college.

Application procedure: The interested and eligible candidates shall submit the online application form. It is available at the official website www.knc.edu.in. A hard copy of the form, along with all necessary certificates and publications of the candidates must be posted to the address 'The Principal, Kamala Nehru College, August Kranti Marg, New Delhi-110049'.

Application fee: The application fee has to be paid online. The general and OBC category applicants have to pay Rs 500 and the SC or ST category students are required to pay Rs 300.
