In order to thank its support staff, DLF Public School here celebrated ‘ Aatmiyata DiwasEk Salaam Apke Naam ’ on March 31.

The annual celebration ensures that school, teachers and students understand and acknowledge the value of the support staff.

Class XII students made the day even more special by organising activities like cricket, volleyball and musical chairs.

School counsellor and coach Himani Tyagi conducted a special workshop for the support staff to make them aware of their ethical and social responsibilities as important member of the school and society.

Each employee, including the ones invited from the Darbari Lal Foundation School and Marshmallow Kids, was presented a gift brought by Class XII students. The gifts were given away by school chairman Rakesh Khullar.

He invited teacher and student volunteers to teach English and computers to the support staff.
