SRINAGAR Court of Principal and Session Judge, Budgam on Thursday acquitted Huriyat Conference (G) general secretary Mohammad Ashraf Sehrae and amalgam functionary Imtiyaz Hyder from the case registered against the duo in 2007.
According to KNS, Sehrae and Hyder were held by the police for protesting against the disappearances in Valley on February 23, 2007 at central Kashmirs Budgam area. Police had registered case with FIR number 74/2007 under section 341 CRPC and section 13 of unlawful activities against Sehrae.
After eight years, on Thursday court finally acquitted Sehrae and others related to the case from the charges registered earlier against them.
