Adah found it hard to work with Puneeth?

The actress says that matching the Power Star was tough
Adah found it hard to work with Puneeth?
Adah Sharma made a splash in Telugu filmdom last year with her film Heart Attack with Puri Jagannadh. It was the kind of launch she had never anticipated and a year later, she is anxiously awaiting the release of her big Kannada debut film Rana Vikrama, opposite Puneeth Rajkumar.
“It will be my acid test as I'll be facing a completely new audience. I hope they accept me with open arms. I'm quite excited and eagerly want to know how the Kannada audience would receive me.
Nowadays, everything rests in the hands of viewers because they are more intelligent and know what to reject and what not,“ she said, adding that her portion in the film is set against a college backdrop.
Talking about working with Puneeth, she said that they feature in a never-seen-before fantasy song. “There's something very imaginative about the song. I'm sure audiences will love it. Also, Puneeth sir is a great dancer. It wasn't easy to match steps with him.“ Although this is her first film in the language alongside a superstar, Adah never felt nervous.“I don't get nervous about these things. I was very happy. I get nervous only when I'm unprepared. I'm not the kind of person who thinks whether I should do this or not. People think when you work with the likes of Puneeth, you bear more responsibility. But I seriously don't feel that way. I enjoy what I do and that's why it's so much fun. If I start thinking about the burden and responsibility, then I have to worry about proving and it will only mess things up,“ she said.Unlike Telugu, a language Adah picked up quite well, Kannada troubled her. “I used to mug up lines like a school-going kid on the sets.Pawan (director) and Puneeth sir would laugh about it. They'd ask me to relax and not worry so much about my lines. But I don't like going on sets unprepared,“ she said.
She's also excited about the release of her Telugu biggie SO Satyamurthy (SOS), featuring Allu Arjun. “Both the films are important to me as they're releasing in the same week. Last year, it was Hasee Toh Phasee and Heart Attack, and this time it's SO Satyamurthy and Rana Vikrama,“ she said.Pointing out that both the films are commercial entertainers, she said: “In Telugu, I've already been accepted, thanks to Heart Attack. But I've tried something different in SOS. Hopefully, audiences will like me in this role as well“. SOS is directed by Trivikram. “Both Arjun and Trivikram have been on my list of people I've always wished to work with in Telugu industry,“ she said.
