NEW DELHI: Congress president
Sonia Gandhi's decision to call the first meeting of the party's coordination committee for preparing for a year-long observation of the 125th birth anniversary of BR Ambedkar has prompted speculation in the party about
Rahul Gandhi attending that meeting and travelling to Mhow in
Madhya Pradesh the next day to attend the formal launch of the party celebrations of the Dalit icon's legacy.
While Sonia is the chairperson of the committee, Rahul is the co-chairperson.

"The fact Soniaji has called the first coordination committee meeting just on the eve of April 14 puts me in a mood of anticipating Rahulji's participation in it," said a senior party leader who is part of the committee.
