Water shutdown in many areas on Apr 10

To enable feeding of Omkar Nagar, Hudkeshwar, Dhantoli and Laxmi Nagar overhead tanks through newly constructed Pench IV Godhani Water Treatment Plant, the Nagpur Municipal Corporation’s Pench Project Cell and OCW are taking up installation of 2 Butterfly valve and some major interconnection works on April 10.

NAGPUR: To enable feeding of Omkar Nagar, Hudkeshwar, Dhantoli and Laxmi Nagar overhead tanks through newly constructed Pench IV Godhani Water Treatment Plant, the Nagpur Municipal Corporation’s Pench Project Cell and OCW are taking up installation of 2 Butterfly valve and some major interconnection works on April 10.
This will mean water supply will be shut for 24 hours in certain areas starting at 10 am on April 10.
Supply from Seminary Hills to Governor House will be affected. The works to be taken up during this shutdown period are: 1200mm dia butterfly valve installation on pipeline from Seminary Hills to Governor House.
The overhead tanks and supply lines that will have restricted supply include Omkar Nagar, Wanjari Nagar, Hudkeshwar, Boriyapura 600mm Feeder, Buldi, Dhantoli, Reshimbagh and Chhaoni, Sadar.
