‘Chinese Casanova’ Exposed As Swindler Who Pilfered Thousands From His 17 Girlfriends

Casanova was a legend most men would envy. But the sordid behavior of his Chinese counterpart – a man known only as Yuan – were dramatically exposed after a car accident sent all 17 of his swindled girlfriends teary and terrified to his bedside.

“I was really worried when I heard that he was in hospital. But when I started seeing more and more beautiful girls show up, I couldn’t cry anymore,” one of his girlfriends told the South China Morning Post.

It appears the Chinese Casanova romanced 17 women – ranging in age from 20 to 40 – not just for sex, but also for money. The fateful car accident exposed not just his dalliances, but the fact that he had collected money from the women every month – one of them for nine years.

Casanova now has more to worry about than his sexual exploits – the police have taken a shine to him, 9News reported.

Police are investigating Casanova for a couple offenses. First up – the accusation that Casanova created a fake civil engineering degree that earned him a job “revamping expressways.” Now, it’s been exposed that he’s actually a “nobody bearing simply a middle school diploma,” as China Daily described him.

They’re also interested in the $50,000 he allegedly stole from his ex-wife and the tens of thousands pilfered from his heartbroken lovers. Casanova will be charged criminally.

Perhaps that is some consolation for the 17 women leaving a trail of tears across China now that their beau has been exposed as swindler.

The Chinese Casanova apparently fathered a child with one of these women and convinced another he was Mr. Right; she was planning their wedding, added the Post. Another, Xiao Li, formed an online chat group with the other 16 – in which they all exposed Yuan’s dirty deeds.

“I’ve been with him for a year and a half. [After hearing he’d been in an accident] I cried so hard I didn’t have any tears left.”

It comes as no surprise that Yuan is a hit on social media with 6,000 comments about his exposed exploits, which some people actually lauded. Others seemed to blame his 17 victims, accusing them of being too dumb to notice they were being taken for a ride by an untrustworthy Casanova.

“A liar always acts perfectly. The only thing he paid them were compliments, which are all that women wanting a perfect life will need. So as a consequence, they were cheated on.”
