Ayub Khan as business tycoon in Saurabh Tewary's show

Veteran actor Ayub Khan, better remembered as Jogi Thakur in Uttaran and last seen in the TV show Ek Hasina Thi, has joined the cast of Saurabh Tewari’s upcoming show for Star Plus.

He will play newbie Pearl V Puri’s (the male lead) father in the show. A source associated with the project reveals, “Ayub will play a rich and influential man. However, his relationship with his son won’t be anything to boast about. They will have differences of opinion and the son will not relate to his father's ideologies.” New girl Ashima Sood has been paired opposite Pearl.The show is tentatively titled as Yeh Ishq nahi Aasaan.
