After shutting down the popular GTalk, Google is reportedly testing its new service called 'GMeet'. With this new service users instead of having to dial into a teleconference call can create a meeting topic in GMeet, where they can invite everyone else to the call.

People who receive the invite would be able to then join the call with a single click.

First noticed on Google+ by a user Florian Kiersch, GMeet appears to allow users to schedule and join teleconference calls with one click. Kiersch also claims that Google has a Chrome Extension for GMeet in development. The leaked screenshots show an Android app.

It is said that GMeet uses Google Hangouts as its base for the functionality. It is said to have a different interface and a few adjusted features added to it which Hangouts doesn't have. Currently, GMeet is in testing and is only available to people working at Google.

Phandroid reported that GMeet and Google Meeting searches return code strings from as far back as 2011. "Most of the code references things we already have access to in the latest rendition of Hangouts, such as whiteboards, screen sharing, and integration with Google Calendar," the website reports.
