77 Pakistanis from Yemen reach Lahore, glorious welcome at airport

The Lahore airport was abuzz with crowds chanting 'Pakistan Zindabad'.

LAHORE (Dunya News) – 77 Pakistanis who were stranded in Yemen reached Lahore airport on Wednesday. The Pakistanis stuck in Yemen had previously reached Karachi by a Pakistan Navy ship. 134 of the Pakistanis were then put on special flights for Lahore. 77 of these passengers belonging to various cities of Punjab were dropped in Lahore. Remaining passengers was then flown to Islamabad. A glorious welcome was given to them at the airport.

The Lahore airport was abuzz with crowds chanting ‘Pakistan Zindabad’. The returning passengers stated that Pakistan Navy had pulled them out from a life threatening danger. The passengers expressed their gratitude to the government of Pakistan and Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif.
