Investigation has revealed that Akash Yadav, the man arrested on Sunday night from Sultanpur Lake on the charge of murdering his friend, had planned two more murders in the first week of April.
According to police, Yadav had targeted a gang from Mahipalpur and Bijwasan, Delhi, who initially worked with Yadav.
“During questioning, Yadav revealed that the gang he was targeting in Delhi had previously worked with him. They parted ways over a financial dispute,” the investigating officer said. He said the accused had planned a murder in Jhajjar, Haryana, after which “he was planning to surrender”.

Yadav also allegedly told police that his family was aware of all his criminal activities.
The questioning also revealed that Yadav’s wife’s family had approached the Women’s Cell as they were not happy with the court marriage and wanted their daughter to end it, Assistant Commissioner of Police (Crime) Rajesh Kumar said.
On Tuesday, Yadav was taken to Delhi for recovery of weapon and also to reveal details of hideouts in Delhi. Three other accused in the case were produced in a city court and remanded in judicial custody for 14 days.
