Sunrisers Hyderabad will play its first match of the IPL 2015 at the ACA-VDCA stadium here after ten days. But, the team has put the locals into the IPL mood when it appeared at the venue on Monday.

Sans captain David Warner and Shikar Dhawan and almost all members of the team are present for a shoot of the team’s theme song. Some had a light workout at the stadium’s B ground but mostly they appeared to be there to have a feel of the ground.

Sunrisers, for which Visakhapatnam is a home venue, takes on Rajasthan Royals on April 16, Delhi Daredevils on April 18 and Kolkota Knight Riders on April 22.

IPL is coming back to the city after three years. Deccan Chargers played Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings in IPL 2012.

Locals should be more interested in the matches here this season and they wish that two of the local talented youngsters K.S. Bharat and Ricky Bhui are seen in action in the slam bang variety of cricket in which they are good.
