V Resorts announces new property in NCR

After raising close to US$ two million (about INR 12 crore) in a recent pre-series funding from Seedfund, V Resorts, a growing chain of boutique resorts in India, has announced the launch of its first property in NCR

After raising close to US$ two million (about INR 12 crore) in a recent pre-series funding from Seedfund, V Resorts, a growing chain of boutique resorts in India, has announced the launch of its first property in NCR. Located in the heart of the city in Chattarpur, V Resorts Delhi is the brand’s first ever Day Resort meant to offer unique experience-based programs for guests.

Commenting on the announcement, Aditi Balbir, co-founder and managing director, V Resorts said, “The strategy is to build various choices for travel around the major metros and focus on experience based getaways. Set in an idyllic rural landscape surrounded by the Aravallis, this property in Delhi is meant to be a one-of-its kind day destination for various wellness programmes, sports events and rejuvenation treatments.”

Spread over six acres of beautifully landscaped area, V Resorts Delhi is equipped with four rooms, a common splash pool, restaurant, open lawn with gazebo and a wellness centre. The property also has lots of green area for herb gardening and relaxation. The brand’s first restaurant chain- Spice Walk offers authentic Old Delhi cuisine prepared from organic and locally produced herbs.

Following the brand’s philosophy of bringing quality and standardisation to the less explored destinations of India, V Resorts is planning to expand its roots in Uttarakhand and Rajasthan with new properties yet to be announced in Mussoorie and Bharatpur respectively. The brand is also planning to announce limited membership holidays on a timeshare basis.

V Resorts currently manages six resorts in across three states bordering Delhi; including Uttarakhand (Sattal, Ramgarh, Pauri and Rajaji National Park), Himachal Pradesh (Narkanda) and Rajasthan (Pali).
