Dad’s the way for Pankaj and Arshad
Kabeer Kaushik’s political drama, Chicago Junction, follows the lives of two fathers, played by Pankaj Kapur and Arshad Warsi. “The film scratches the underbelly of politics in Uttar Pradesh during the British rule. The fathers try to protect their young sons from the mafia and the politicians. And when they are snatched away, they set out to search for them,” explains Arshad.

The actor who recently wrapped up Vashu Bhagnani’s Welcome To Karachi, will start shooting for Chicago Junction in July. “I will be shooting with Pankaj and Naseer saab in July and August,” he confirms.

Naseeruddin Shah who was last seen with his brother-inlaw, Pankaj, in Homi Adajania’s Finding Fanny will be seen in a negative role in this period film. “It’s an interesting role and he’ll keep us on our toes,” Arshad laughs.
