Woman kills husband

A small businessman, Bhagwan Yadav, was murdered allegedly by his wife following an argument between them at their house in Shyamnagar of Asifnagar on Friday night.

The woman, Ujala Jhadav, worked as an assistant cook with a catering agency and came home late in the night.

On Friday night, Yadav reportedly in an inebriated state, picked up a quarrel and manhandled Ujala.

“In a fit of rage the woman picked up a hammer and hit Yadav on his head. Bhagwan Yadav sustained serious head injuries and died on the spot,” Asifnagar police said.

Mohd. Shahabuddin (44) of Chandrayangutta died after being hit by a truck at Owaisi Hospital junction on Saturday afternoon.

Mohd. Shahabuddin was returning home after picking up his son, Ayaanuddin, from school.

Shahabuddin died on the spot while his son sustained minor injuries.
