Shaleen Malhotra returns to TV with 'Talaash'

Shaleen Malhotra will be returning to the small screen with the upcoming series Talaash. Anita Hassanandani and Shaleen have been roped in to host the upcoming series that will air on Colors. Sources said, “The series will be a part of Code Red and will explore the myths behind the various haunted places in India. Code Red currently has three series and there are chances that one of the series might end to make way for Talaash which is expected to go on air by the end of this month.”

Shaleen was on a break after he did O Gujariya that ended abruptly last year.He confirmed the news about doing Talaash and told us, “The point is after taking a break for a very long time, I didn’t want to step in something until it was very attractive or appealing. When the show came to me, I heard the concept and found it to be very intriguing and different. It is not horror or very dramatic, but it has an emotional quotient and involves supernatural things. When as an actor, it intrigues me, I am sure it will also intrigue the audiences. The show will talk about incidents that we all have heard about. For instance, in Delhi, many people have heard about this woman who runs with your car in the Cantonment area. People have seen it. There are always two sides to a coin and our job will be to show the coin to the viewers.”
