Two killed in tempo-truck collision near Bardoli

SURAT: Two persons were killed in a collision between a tempo and a truck on Surat-Dhulia National Highway No 6 near Bardoli on Saturday. Tempo driver Lakhdhir Reva Bharwad and the vehicle's cleaner were killed in the accident.
The tempo, which was bound for Vyara, rammed into the truck from behind near Manekpore, which is 12km off Bardoli town in Surat district.
"The tempo was being driven at a very high speed," Bardoli police inspector S N Sagar said.
The truck had Tamil Nadu registration number.
