Veteran Marathi playwright Mahesh Elkunchwar and renowned Marathi folk singer Sulochana Chavan is conferred with Natyajivan Gaurav award and Chitrajivan Gaurav award respectively.
These two awards fall under lifetime achievement award category of Zee Gaurav Puruskar.
Both these awards are to appreciate their remarkable contribution in respective fields and ceremonies were conducted seperately.

Elkunchwar (75) has penned many path-breaking plays like Aathmakatha, Magnatalyasathi Raktapushpa and Party which were commercially successful dramas as well. He has earlier been honoured with awards like Jeevan Puruskar by the Maharashtra government, Nandikar award and Sangeet Natak Akademi Ratna.
Known for her popular lavni numbers, folk singer Sulochana Chavan (81) is also a great philanthropist. Many Marathi actresses across generations perform on her songs like Solava varsh dhokyacha and Kasa Kai Patil Bara hai ka in various musical shows and award functions. She was recently seen sharing some interesting facts about her life in a comedy chat show, Chala Hawa Yeu dya.
