Bhagwan Nagar man booked for sexually harassing college student
Shimlapuri police have booked a Bhagwan Nagar resident for sexually harassing a college student.
LUDHIANA: Shimlapuri police have booked a Bhagwan Nagar resident for sexually harassing a college student.
In her police complaint, the BA final-year student of Master Tara Singh College said Parminder Singh would follow her every morning when she left for her college and mouth obscenities for her. "On March 31, he followed me while I was going to appear in an examination at Gill chowk and sexually harassed me," she added.
The police on Thursday evening registered a case under sections 354-A (Sexual harassment and punishment for sexual harassment) and 506 (Punishment for criminal intimidation) of the IPC against the accused.
