Nat Manch celebrates 3rd foundation day

JAMMU, Apr 3: Nat Manch celebrated 3rd foundation day with big fanfare here today with the presentation of the play “Khoon Dhaan” written and directed by Tarun Sharma.
Nat Manch president and founder Tarun Sharma spoke at length about the journey of Nat Manch and shared some very interesting success and failures of Nat Manch.
Nat Manch was established on March 3, 2012 and started a weekly show called Tuesday series in 2012 and reached 156 weekly theater shows, he said, adding that Nat Manch produced over one hundred actors.
Sharma also disclosed that last year, first time in Jammu history Nat Manch had completed its half century with 51 street plays including “Khoon Dhaan” in one day at different places of Jammu.
This year, Nat Manch produced short film on YouTube titled “Aao Lohri Mannache” and “Dosti Aur Nasha”, he said, adding that Nat Manch artist brought top honors which included Sahitya Akademi Award for writing by Yash Paul Nirmal.
Among others present were Mahatma Tilak Ji, Nat Manch chairman, Shimla Sharma, Ranjeet Singh, Rishav Salgotra, Mohit Sharma and Nikhil Verma.
