April 04, 2015 12:00 am | Updated 05:44 am IST - KARIMNAGAR:

The Lok Satta udyama samstha has said that the State Medical and Health Department has issued instructions asking RMPs and PMPs not to prefix the word ‘Doctor’ before their names in front of their clinics and on their letter-heads.

In a press note here on Friday, Lok Satta district president N. Srinivas and secretary Prakash Holla said that the Medical and Health Department had issued a letter to this effect. Any RMP and PMP using the prefix of doctor will be punishable and cheating cases will be registered against them, they stated.

They urged the RMPs and PMPs not play with the lives of rural people by claiming to be professional doctors.
