Kunchacko-Jayasurya to team up for a thriller
M-Town has always capitalised on the success of hit combos who have proved their worth at the box office. One among them is Kunchacko Boban and Jayasurya, who have lit up the screen whenever they teamed up, like in Gulumaal or Lollypop. The latest flick to have the duo is Rajesh Pillai’s next, said to be an edgy thriller.
Its scribe Arunlal Ramachandran confirms the news, saying that the story revolves around a mystery.
“Both Kunchacko and Jayasurya have equally important, performance- oriented roles in the film. The audience will witness their most intense performance till date,” he says. This is for the first time that Rajesh will be working with Jayasurya. “The actors will be seen in a new look in the film. The shoot is all set to start from July, but the rest of the cast and locations are yet to be finalized,” says Arun, who has scripted Happy Journey earlier.
Cinematographer Santhosh Thundiyil, famed for his Bollywood projects Krrish and Rowdy Rathore, will crank the camera for this untitled flick while Shaan Rahman will compose the music. Rajesh Pillai, whose film Traffic was a trendsetter, has completed the shoot of Bollywood version of Traffic. The director also has Motorcycle Dairies in his kitty with Kunchacko Boban and Nivin Pauly in the lead roles.
