Sticking to the custom set by his late musician-father Augustine Joseph, singer K.J. Yesudas on Tuesday made a musical offering at the St. Joseph’s Church at Adhikari Valappu in Fort Kochi.

Arriving from Dubai on Tuesday morning, the musician prayed at the church as is the practice. He had lunch in a feast served at his behest at his late master Barid’s house adjacent to the church.

The singer of soulful melodies returned to the church late evening to give a concert of devotional melodies that lasted over an hour.
