Hindu Munnani members stage protest

April 02, 2015 12:00 am | Updated 05:34 am IST - COIMBATORE:

More than 500 members of the Hindu Munnani on Wednesday staged a protest in Sivananda Colony urging the R.S. Puram Police to withdraw the false case foisted on five of their cadre.

Led by State General Secretary Kadeswara Subramanian and State Managing Committee member Kishore Kumar, the members said that the police slapping case on two State and three district office-bearers that they tried to engineer violence on the eve of Coimbatore bomb blast anniversary on February 14 was motivated and false as the members were not in town.
