MANGALURU: Jamboti in Khanapur taluk of Belagavi district recorded maximum rainfall of 25mm in the last 24-hours up to 8.30am today.
Tekkalakote hobli in Siruguppa taluk of Ballari district recorded maximum temperature of 42.4°C on March 25 at 2.45pm. Bidar hobli in Bidar taluk of Bidar district recorded lowest minimum temperature of 15.7°C at 6.15am on March 26. More than 90% relative humidity has been recorded in 34.2% geographical area in the state.
Less than 25% of relative humidity has been recorded in 77.9% geographical area in the state.
Rainfall over the state is considered as negligible since 1% of the hoblis and gram panchayats recorded rainfall of =2.5mm. Moderate rain was recorded in four gram panchayats (GPs); light rain in 13 gram panchayats; very light rain in 40 gram panchayats; and no rainfall in the remaining 3,155 gram panchayats across the state.

Against normal weighted average rainfall of 1.4mm in south-interior, north-interior, malnad and coastal parts, state recorded rainfall of 0.2mm. For 24-hours period ending 8.30am on March 26, four geographical regions received 0.1mm actual weighted average rainfall against normal weighted average rainfall of 0.3mm, a 73% deficit departure from the weighted-average normal.
