A mountain adventure

Last summer my family and I visited Kedarnath, the site of the Hindu religious temple. First, we reached Delhi by train and went to a hill station called Phata by car. It is a beautiful hill station where I saw many different types of flowers and the practice of step cultivation by the local people

The next daywe started our 6-7 journey from Phata to Kedarnath temple. We reached a place where we should take a horse to continue our journey to Kedarnath, which we did early the next morning. I was afraid to sit on horse but saw beautiful snow covered waterfalls on the way. The road was very narrow and we could almost touch the clouds. After 4 to 5 hours, we reached the Kedarnath temple area. After sometime we entered the temple and offered sandal to the Shiv linga. There were cottages and nice garden at the back of the temple.
