Chicago Bulls star Derrick Rose says he has no knee pain and is aiming for a regular season return, according to ESPN Chicago.

"We can be pretty good," Rose said regarding Chicago's prospects with him back in the lineup. "We can be really good. It's just all about everybody being healthy, a little luck and everybody staying together."

Bulls mentally drained, concerned with Derrick Rose's knee injury

Rose is in the middle of his third knee rehab stint of his NBA career after undergoing surgery to repair a torn medial meniscus in his right knee that he sustained in February.

In 46 games before the injury he was averaging more than 18 points per game. He has not played since Feb. 23 against Milwaukee.

Coach Tom Thibodeau called the injury "unfair," noting the other injuries Rose has sustained in his career.

Rose, who won the league's 2011 MVP award, already had his right medial meniscus repaired once, in Nov. 2013. That operation kept him out of action for a majority of the 2013-14 season. He also tore his ACL in 2012.

The Bulls, at 43-29, have the Central Division's second-best record with 10 games remaining in the regular season.
