REASI, Mar 25: Continuing its initiatives to promote local culture, Salal Power Station of NHPC Limited organized ‘rade’ competition among the groups of students, employees and local ladies of Reasi at Govt. Higher Secondary School (Girls), Reasi.
A G Ansari, General Manager, Salal Power Station was the chief guest who witnessed the groups performing art and using hue of natural colours with keen interest.
Among others, Principal of the School, students and locals were present on the occasion.
Artist Anuradha Rishi and her team members adjudged B.Ed. students Ist, Govt. Hr. Sec. School, Salal and NHPC Employees Group for the 2nd and third prizes respectively.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr Ansari said that ‘Rade’ Competition was organized to promote the local culture and Rituals which are fading away with the time.
Further he advised the students to work hard as it pays in the long run. He further said that lack of resources can never come in the way of students to obtain good results if the students take studies on priority. Principal, Govt. Hr. Sec. school (Girls), Reasi and locals appreciated the initiatives taken by NHPC Limited and thanked Sh. Ansari.
