Pithampur Panchayat accountant found dead

INDORE: Mohd Shafi Sheikh, the 45-year-old accountant of Dhar district's Pithampur Municipal Panchayat was found dead on Indore outskirts on Wednesday night.
A resident of Green Park locality of Indore's Chandan Nagar area, the accountant was found dead and his motorcycle lying along side at a village, between Chandan Nagar and Betma.
With all his valuables being intact and injuries being present on the body, Chandan Nagar police suspected it was a case of accident, owing to a hit by some heavy vehicle.
The matter came to light in the night, after someone called from the accountant's phone to one of his friends, informing about Sheikh, lying injured, said Chandan Nagar police station in-charge Vinod Dixit.
Further investigations are underway.
