Summer steals: $129 at Omni Montelucia, $149 at Boulders

• Both offers are for summer stays and must be booked this week

Two more Arizona resorts are offering preseason sales on summer stays via deals site Travelzoo. Both are limited-time offers that must be booked this week.

The Omni Scottsdale Resort & Spa at Montelucia in Paradise Valley has rates starting at $129 a night for a resort view room. or $159 for a poolside room. The offer includes the resort's nightly $25 resort fee. Taxes are additional.

Omni's offer, good for stays between June 5 and Sept. 30, must be booked on Travelzoo by Saturday, March 28. I found wide availability at the $129 rate, even on weekends.

The Boulders, a Waldorf-Astoria resort in Carefree, is offering a $149 package on Travelzoo but the deal only lasts until Thursday, March 26.

The $149 rate includes a one-night stay in a casita, a $50 credit for breakfast for two, a $50 resort credit and an early check in and late checkout when available.

The offer is good on select dates between June 14 and Sept. 10. A $30 nightly resort fee and taxes are additional. I found the $149 rate widely available, even on weekends. Starting rates for the Fourth of July long weekend were higher.

Blackout dates for the Travelzoo offer include June 15 and July 7.

Rooms are booked directly through Travelzoo, which requires a free e-mail membership for bookings.

Last week, Arizona Grand Resort in Phoenix launched a $99 summer special through Travelzoo.
