Ford announces summer service camp

The Indian summers are here, and the days are getting hotter. As the sun rises, the horror of the heat commences. Ford has begun a car check-up camp to help its customers take care of their cars in this unforgiving weather.

The Summer Service Camp will be conducted by the carmaker from March 23 - 29, 2015 and will be applicable in North Indian cities only. The current portfolio of the automaker which includes the Figo, Fiesta, Classic, EcoSport and Endeavour is included in this free camp.

Customers can avail for a free general car check-up and car body wash at the service camp. The company is also offering additional discounts on spares along with special discounts on battery starting from Rs 2,904. Ford has also offered an additional gift worth Rs 999 (on selected brands) and free alignment for all four tyres that are replaced. Customers can also get about 10 per cent discount on components such as AC gas, evaporator coil, coolant, brake fluid and other value added services.

The American carmaker will also soon launch the compact sedan version of the Figo to go up against the likes of other market players such as Maruti and Honda that have ruled the market with their offerings - the Maruti Swift Dzire and the Honda Amaze.

The new Ford Figo sedan and hatchback are also expected to be rolled out from new Ford plant in Sanand this year. Ford is also readying the next-gen Endeavour SUV for India which is also expected to be launched this year.
