What you see in the picture is a supercar called the LM2 Streamliner that will make its world premiere at the New York Auto Show next month. While it is only a computer rendering the company has released on their website, we’re sure if Racer X was an actual living being, this is what his ride would look like. With a body that has been carved out of carbon fiber, even the chassis and the subframe of this unusually unconventional looking supercar has been carved out of the super tough material.

Propulsion duties are taken care by a twin-turbo, twin intercooler, 4cam, DOHC V8 afterburner that glows with a 1700 hp flame and 2183 Nm of torque. Mated to a 7-speed gearbox, all that fury is transferred to all four wheels via an AWD system. Brembo sourced carbon ceramic brake rotors and and Bosch ESP and ABS systems package ensure they bring this Streamliner to a halt when the flaps are deployed. Suspension bits are made out of Titanium and Billet aluminium, allowing two different damping settings to pick from in Luxury and Sport editions.

The ‘Wow’ factor is further fueled by an advanced, fully microprocessor controlled electrical system. It does not employ any ugly wires snaking through the chassis and needs no breakers, relays or fuses. The car has no buttons, toggle switches or levers either. It allows the driver to program all the systems on the car from his/her iPhone or mobile device! What that means is any system can be programmed to work simultaneously with another setup. For e.g., wings can be deployed as the suspension lowers, or seats can be adjusted while the door opens.

Captain X’s entertainment is taken care by a 16″ inch touch screen control center computer that also embeds navigation, bluetooth and a premium infotainment system. The exhaust system is a cocktail of Stainless, Inconel and Titanium, which is attached to an electronic cut out which quietens the exhaust note and initiates cylinder deactivation for increased fuel efficiency. Those alien headlamps are Full LED 1200 watt units, while an electronic blind spot eliminator enhances that X-ray vision capability. Top Speed? It will travel to to Mars in minutes as it hits an estimated top whack of 466.7 kph!
