HCL Technologies made rapid strides in the latter half of the session to emerge the top gainer by the close on the NSE on Wednesday. The share was trading at Rs 1,007.15, up 3.79 per cent on its overnight close at Rs 970.35.
DLF built up gains of 3.09 per cent to trade at Rs 165.05 as against Rs 160.10 at close yesterday.
Tata Motors, which held a firm undertone throughout the day, was trading at Rs 541.85 as against Rs 532.25 at close yesterday. This was a gain of 1.80 per cent.
Cairn India was trading at Rs 223 as against Rs 219.05 at close on Tuesday. This represented a gain of 1.80 per cent.
ICICI Bank edged up further to hold gains of 1.6 per cent at Rs 316.90 as against its overnight close at Rs 311.90.
